Finding simplicity in a cluttered, so called, modern world….is an art. When everyone and everything wants to take away simplicity, life, for me, becomes about stealing moments when no one is present or watching. When I am photographing portraits, my desire is to photograph moments, not poses. My affinity for photography began when I was very young. Always the kid with the camera; but never any idea that still waters run deep and this passion was below the surface looking for outlet. After many years in the “career” world, this creative expression found it’s way out through photography. It became a way of capturing beauty within the mundane, which is everywhere in the life of an “employee.” When I am behind the camera, it is as if all depth and beauty is present and ready to be caputured in that instant. With a profound respect for beauty and diversity and the value and depth of all communities, human and non-alike, I loose all perception of self and aspire to capture moments. Moments can never be captured the same, twice....ever.
